Celebrating our Revive Services graduates

Revive, a Job Pathways’ initiative, recently launched a new pre-employment program in Kununurra, WA, for the local community called Revive Services. This service aims to engage participants in training and real-life skills in order to equip them to enter the workforce.

This week we celebrated our first cohort of Revive Services graduates who successfully completed the Revive Services program and obtained a Certificate 1 in Gaining Access to Training and Employment (GATE).
Over this 10-week pre-employment course, they completed a construction project with mentoring from Revive Services team members, Charlesy and Ash. They also attended North Regional TAFE on a regular basis and enhanced their literacy, language, digital literacy and numeracy skills.
They are all continuing to work with Revive Services to build, upcycle and repair furniture that can be sold through the Revive Store, complete community projects, as well as build furniture for their own use.
Congratulations Lane, Farren and Nathan!
